* Clear an area around where you are going to burn so the fire does not spread.
* Do not burn when it is windy, Wind can blow sparks and start fires a great distance away from the original fire.
* Do not burn if officials have declared a burning ban due to dry conditions.
* An adult must attend the fire at all times. Do not leave the fire until it has been totally extinguished and do not
allow children to play around the fire.
* Keep a garden hose or a bucket of water available to contain the fire.
* Campfires and open cooking fires are allowed but must be monitored, kept to an acceptable size, and attended
to at all times. Campfires should be in a container designed for that purpose or a fire pit that will contain the fire.

require a burn permit.
